So it’s aliens but also politics? Cool I guess.
Emily Blunt as a meteorologist sounds kinda random… like why would a weather person even get involved with a whistleblower? Also Spielberg always does the cover-ups thing so I’m not sure what new angle there is.
The headline says Spielberg “returns” and I just assume it’s like E.T. 2 or Close Encounters 3. But then it’s about a government whistleblower?? That makes me think it’s actually about drones or something and they’re calling it aliens.
I don’t know, I feel like this is gonna be one of those movies where everybody’s hiding the truth and it’s the public’s fault for not trusting. If Spielberg says he’d be grateful if aliens exist, that sounds kinda nice but also… like why would that mean a massive cover-up would be the right move? I’ll probably still watch it though, John Williams hype and all.
