Skydiver Crashes Into Tent During Folsom Pro Rodeo

skydiver crashes – A skydiver missed his target area at the Folsom Pro Rodeo in Northern California on Thursday, striking a pop-up shade tent captured on video. The jumper, described as Ross, was reportedly fine shortly after and returned to the sky the very next day.
A skydiver at the Folsom Pro Rodeo in Northern California landed in a way no one expected—right into a pop-up tent built to provide shade for attendees—before bouncing back almost immediately.
Video from the event on Thursday shows the jumper missing his target area and smacking into the tent. The impact looks forceful, but a spokesperson for the rodeo, Adam Frick, says the tent actually helped cushion the fall.
Frick also identified the skydiver as Ross. He was reportedly “totally fine,” addressing the crowd just 10–15 minutes after the incident, where he waved to everyone.
The day after the crash, Ross reportedly jumped again on Friday without incident, and Frick says he is set to jump again on Saturday.
For spectators watching a rodeo unfold as usual, the moment turned into something more unsettling and memorable than planned. Still, with Ross back in the air the next day—and slated for another jump—this was a scare that, at least for now, ended with the jumper okay.

Dude missed by like a mile and hit a tent… wild.
So he just… got right back up and went again the next day?? I don’t care how “cushioned” it was, that’s still scary. Like why would they let him jump again if he clipped a tent that hard?
The spokesperson says the tent cushioned the fall but I’m not buying it. Tents are for shade, not landing spots, so sounds like PR talk to me. Also “Ross”?? That’s all they got? Could’ve been training issues or the wind or whatever.
This is why I can’t watch skydiving, because one little screw up and you’re landing in someone’s setup. I saw the video and the tent looked like it barely moved too, so either he hit super hard or it wasn’t as bad as they’re saying. And the fact he waved to the crowd 10 minutes later like nothing happened is just… nope. Next day jumping again is honestly insane to me.
