Seth Jarvis scores OT winner, Stanley Cup Final tied 1-1

The Lenovo Center was sent in raptures. If only the Canes faithful knew what would happen next. Controversial review, more chaos After Andersen made back-to-back stops on Barbashev in tight, including a desperation save on his belly, Barbashev was convinced he had scored on his third attempt. The puck did cross the line on the jam play, but the referee said Barbashev committed goalie interference by pushing Andersen’s glove. Vegas challenged the call on the ice but it stood, and Carolina was handed a power
play with five minutes remaining in regulation. The Golden Knights’ bench was incensed; broadcast pundits and fans on social media were split on the decision. It was close. On the ensuing man advantage, captain Staal tipped a Gostisbehere point shot to make it 3-2 at 15:25. But if this young series has taught us anything, it’s that you never know when the back-and-forth is done. With Vegas’ net empty, Marner held the puck in the high slot until finding a shooting lane and fluttering a
wrister on goal. Anderson made the initial save and the puck rattled around until Stone banged it in to tie it 3-3 with 1:21 left. What theatre. How was that only Game 2?

OT winner is crazy but that goalie interference thing felt made up.
I swear the puck crossing line was the whole point. If they push a glove then whatever, call it, but why did it take all that review time.
So Carolina got the power play because Barbashev bumped the goalie glove? I thought Vegas scored, then it got reversed?? Like I’m confused. Either way Jarvis basically won it for them I guess.
Goal reviews in hockey are so messy. One minute it’s in, next minute it’s goalie interference and everyone loses it on broadcast. Also Marner holding the puck forever while everyone’s watching like he’s doing cardio? Idk I just think the refs decide who gets momentum. And now it’s tied again… this series is gonna be a headache.
