Selling Sunset Season 10: Who’s in, who’s out

Netflix has confirmed Selling Sunset will return for season 10, but the cast shuffle is already rewriting the show’s social map. Several stars— including Chrishell Stause, Mary Bonnet, and Chelsea Lazkani—are not coming back, while others like Jason and Brett

For a show built on sharp elbows, Selling Sunset’s season 10 question isn’t just about contracts—it’s about whether the cast can survive another round of fallout.

Netflix has confirmed Selling Sunset is returning for season 10. and the cast has already been hinting at who will be back on camera—and who won’t. The road to this renewal runs straight through season 9’s fractures. Friendships that used to anchor the group weren’t intact by the time the show wrapped. leaving the future of the series feeling anything but settled.

Season 9, which premiered in October 2025, left plenty of emotional debris behind. Emma Hernan was no longer close to Chrishell Stause—or Chelsea Lazkani—after her relationship with then-boyfriend Blake Davis became part of the tension. Chrishell. for her part. was only on good terms with Chelsea. while Chelsea kept her distance from the rest of the cast. The gap wasn’t subtle: Chelsea was specifically at odds with Mary Bonnet and Bre Tiesi after individual feuds played out on screen.

And when the show’s drama peaked, it didn’t end with words. Nicole Young became the cast member with the most drama after Jason and Brett Oppenheim fired her following a controversial group dinner. Most of the show’s stars refused to film with Nicole. and the conflict didn’t just stay in scenes—it spilled into the show’s logistics.

That simmering mess is exactly why the new season lineup matters. Here’s where the biggest names stand right now: who’s expected to return, who’s confirmed to sit out, and who’s still leaving the door cracked open.

It felt a little bit like a dog pile,” and added, “I don’t know when they will start filming. I hope they never tell me.”.

She added that she’d been spending time on the East Coast with her family and with Blake: “A lot of time with my family, a lot of time with Blake, and I can’t picture at this moment filming again. I’m really happy with where things are at, and we’ll see what happens.”

But Us exclusively confirmed in March 2026 that Chelsea—alongside Chrishell Stause and Nicole Young—is not coming back for another season.

Nicole Young
Nicole Young’s place in the season 10 conversation looks like it was shaped by what happened after she was fired. In season 9, the show showed Nicole getting fired from the Oppenheim Group, and she later claimed it was just for show.

image

“I still work at the Oppenheim Group. Getting ‘fired’ was just a dramatic story line,” she wrote via Instagram in October 2025. She added, “I wasn’t privy to [it] until I saw the episode where the cast was told I was let go.”

Nicole also hinted she could return in season 10, telling Netflix’s Tudum, “My new priority will be Nashville, but it definitely won’t be goodbye to L.A. real estate.” But a source exclusively told Us in March 2026 that Nicole would not be returning to the reality show for the new season.

You have to navigate [a lot].”.

She described how that history shaped her feelings about the show: “At first, I didn’t want to watch the show because I wanted to make my own impressions. But then I’m like, ‘F*** it. I’m going to watch the show.’”

image

She added, “I watched it and I understand why certain people have anger toward certain people. To me, it’s all very unnecessary. It is little things, and how is that a reason for an ongoing feud? Don’t make a thing more than what it actually is.”

The cast decisions for season 10 aren’t happening in a vacuum—season 9’s fallout is already baked into who feels ready to return and who doesn’t. In a season where friendships splintered. feuds played out on screen. and Nicole Young’s firing triggered a breakdown in filming willingness. the new lineup is also a reckoning of what the group is willing to revisit.

With Netflix confirming the season 10 renewal. the biggest names are now separating into two camps: those expected back—like Jason Oppenheim and Brett Oppenheim. plus returning stars such as Heather Rae El Moussa and Amanza Smith—and those who’ve confirmed exits or been reported as not coming back. including Mary Bonnet.
