Police officials said the TV actress, 30, was staying with her parents and sister in the Nalasopara area of Mumbai. At the time of the incident, she was alone. She was found dead at her residence in Nalasopara East in an alleged suicide case. The account shared by IANS on its X (previously Twitter) handle says she was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her bedroom. She was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared her dead.
The statement also says an Accidental Death Report (ADR) has been registered, and police are investigating the circumstances behind the incident. The situation is still under investigation, and the circumstances surrounding her death are described as unclear.
Within hours, reactions poured in from fans and people from her TV circle. Pandya Store actress Simran Budharup responded to Ugale’s latest Instagram post with a short line: “Why Sanchita?” She added a crying emoticon. Fans flooded the comments with messages of disbelief and condolences, writing to express shock at the sudden loss.
Ugale was best known for her role in Kumkum Bhagya. She was also associated with projects including Chhava. Her death has left her close ones and the television industry heartbroken, with supporters revisiting her last post and mourning the abrupt end to a career that had made her a familiar face.

I saw the headline and just knew it was something mental health related. Like nobody posts/dances hours before unless they’re hiding it.
Accidental Death Report sounds like they’re trying to make it not look as bad. Hanging from a fan is still hanging from a fan, just saying.
I hate how her last IG was a dance reel… that’s what messes me up. Also “she was alone” doesn’t mean anything to me, like maybe someone was there and moved stuff? Idk. Everyone keeps saying unclear circumstances but the internet always figures it out anyway. Poor parents and sister.
