to pay a fine to the NHL for switching uniforms in an ongoing postseason series. “Despite some speculation the Sabres may wear their alternate red & black goat head uniforms – and eat an NHL fine – hearing they will be wearing blue tonight for Game 7,” Kaplan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. The most recent Game 7 for the Sabres was in 2011, their most recent postseason appearance; they dropped a 5-2 decision to the Philadelphia Flyers in the City of Brotherly
