This week, “WWE Friday Night SmackDown” is in a bit of a strange situation. It was originally set to tape in the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, but the WWE decided to give the wrestlers a bit of (well-deserved!) time off for Labor Day.
(Tickets for fans attending the event were refunded.)
As such, the episode that airs in the usual three-hour block on Friday, Sep. 4, starting at 8 p.m., was taped on Friday, Aug. 28 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Two episodes were taped that day.
