Rip Wheeler’s toughest night out doesn’t start with heartbreak. It starts with a wardrobe.

In a June 19 episode of “Dutton Ranch. ” the longtime ranch hand—normally defined by his cowboy gear—tries to pull off a dress shirt and jacket as he prepares to attend a party at the rival 10-Petal ranch. The moment plays for laughs at first, especially when Carter piles on. “You look f—– ridiculous,” Carter tells him, after Rip actor Cole Hauser’s character admits, “I feel f—ing ridiculous.”.
