Rhea Ripley Faces Jade Cargill for WWE Title

Rhea Ripley defends the WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill in a WrestleMania 42 rematch, with Cargill backed by B-Fab and Michin and Ripley forming an unlikely alliance with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss to keep the numbers even.
Rhea Ripley is walking into WrestleMania 42 knowing the title is on the line—because Jade Cargill is coming for it again.
This won’t be a one-on-one confrontation in the usual sense. Cargill will be backed by B-Fab and Michin, a support setup that’s meant to make her more dangerous in the ring and a direct threat to regaining the WWE Women’s Championship from The Eradicator.
Ripley, for her part, has been forced into a last-ditch solution. To keep the numbers even against Cargill’s side, Ripley has allied herself with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. The match is shaped by that choice just as much as by the championship itself—Ripley isn’t only trying to beat a former champion. she’s trying to survive a fight that could tilt fast if she’s outnumbered.
The question hanging over WrestleMania 42 is simple, even if the path to the answer won’t be: can Ripley stave off Cargill, or does Cargill become a two-time WWE Women’s Champion?
Outside the ring, fans will be able to catch the show in real time. WWE Clash in Italy airs Sunday, May 31, at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT on the ESPN App with an ESPN Unlimited plan in the United States and Netflix internationally.

So wait is this like a title match or just storyline drama?
Rhea’s team-up with Charlotte and Alexa makes no sense to me but I guess WWE gonna WWE. Jade better not win again or I’m gonna be mad for no reason lol.
B-Fab and Michin backing Jade sounds like cheating already, like numbers game 100%. But if Rhea is allied with Charlotte and Alexa then wouldn’t that just be the same thing? Idk I only half read it.
I feel like they’re rushing Jade’s “coming for it again” thing, like she already took the belt? Also the article keeps saying “survive” which is weird for a wrestling match, it’s not UFC. Where does “The Eradicator” fit into this like is that a real person or just a nickname they forgot to explain?
