When Raynham police responded to a crash on South Street East and Hill Street on Friday night. they found a badly damaged black Harley Davidson in the roadway and its rider. Scott Pinche. suffering from a significant injury. Prosecutors say Pinche, 52, later died after being taken to Morton Hospital.
Police arrested Jacob Larsen, 22, of Avon in connection with the fatal crash, the office of Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn announced. Larsen is expected to be arraigned in Taunton District Court on Monday.
Prosecutors allege Larsen’s vehicle was a White Ford Explorer with heavy front-end damage, located facing east in the westbound travel lane of Hill Street. They say Larsen was identified as the driver of the Explorer and remained on scene, speaking with police.
The charges include motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation, operating a motor vehicle while license suspended for OUI, a marked lanes violation, and failure to yield.
At the time of the crash, prosecutors said Larsen had his license suspended because of a prior OUI charge. Larsen is also facing OUI charges stemming from a January 2026 car crash. where court records and a statement of facts say he allegedly hit another vehicle head on at a high rate of speed while driving under the influence.
Raynham police and State Police are investigating Friday’s crash, along with the Bristol County District Attorney’s office.
An attorney representing Larsen in his January 2026 charges did not respond to a request for comment Sunday night.

License suspended again and someone still gets on the road… smh.
So the motorcycle was in the roadway and the guy didn’t leave? That’s wild. I just hope the family gets justice, because these DUI/OUI repeat offenders never stop.
Wait, I’m confused—was it a motorcycle crash or a Ford Explorer crash? Like the article mentions both the Harley and the Explorer, so was Larsen even on the Explorer the whole time? Either way, suspended license plus OUI charges from January 2026 is insane.
All these charges and it’s still gonna be like 5 minutes in court and they call it “neglect” like the driver didn’t know better. Also Morton Hospital… like why does it always take days for people to die after the crash? Sad either way, but maybe stop letting people with prior OUI drive period.
