Raising Cane’s ramps up July openings across seven states

Raising Cane’s says it plans to open five new restaurants in July 2026 and remodel three others, expanding into its first locations in Johnson City, Tennessee; Jacksonville, North Carolina; and Albany, Georgia.
By mid-July 2026, Raising Cane’s is preparing to plant new flags in several parts of the country—while also changing the rhythm of service at some established restaurants.
The chicken finger chain said it plans five brand new restaurants in July. along with three remodeled locations. and described the expansion as a chance to “create jobs and strengthen local partnerships.” In a June 29 statement. the company added: “We’re excited to celebrate these milestones with our newest communities in Johnson City. Jacksonville and Albany.”.
The openings also mark a shift into markets the chain has not entered before. including Johnson City. Tennessee; Jacksonville. North Carolina; and Albany. Georgia. The company is also planning adjustments at select existing restaurants. with some locations moving to earlier start times and others staying open later to serve areas where late-night dining is more common.
Raising Cane’s said its July slate includes new restaurants in three southern states plus additional markets beyond the South. It told the public that its rollout will reach places including Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee.
The five new restaurants planned for July include:
Schererville, Indiana — 703 US Route 41 (opening July 6)
Johnson City, Tennessee — 1904 N. Roan St. (opening July 7)
Jacksonville, North Carolina — 1106 Western Blvd. (opening July 13)
Albany, Georgia — 2616 Dawson Road (opening July 21)
Los Angeles, California — 1008 Broxton Ave. (opening date TBD)
The company also laid out three remodeled restaurants scheduled to reopen:
Edmond, Oklahoma — 1225 E. 2nd St. (reopening July 13)
Fort Collins, Colorado — 2108 S. College Ave. (reopening July 17)
Las Vegas, Nevada — 6051 N. Decatur Blvd. (reopening July 20)
Not all of the change is tied to new builds. Raising Cane’s said some already established restaurants will be adjusting their hours in July. with some opening earlier and others closing later. The chain linked the extended schedules to demand for late-night dining in areas where customers want more flexibility.
Areas named for extended hours include Dallas-Ft. Worth and Houston, Miami and Orlando, New Orleans, Nashville, Phoenix and Las Vegas.
One other location is already moving on a different calendar. Lynwood is set to be home to Washington’s 4th Raising Cane’s restaurant on June 23.
The expansion plan for July, taken as a whole, is unmistakably about two things at once: bringing the brand to new communities for the first time and reshaping how some existing locations serve customers once the day runs long.
