Racing Louisville looks for first 3-game winning streak, record attendance at Saturday’s match

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Racing Louisville carries a wave momentum into Saturday’s home match against Boston Legacy FC and it’s hoping for the biggest crowd in club history.
Racing has won three of its last four matches and is hosting its “Down the Stretch Night” as it welcomes the newest team in the NWSL to Lynn Family Stadium Saturday night.
The name is a nod to the horse racing roots found in the club’s name and also the fact that it kicks off the final stretch of 12 games in the push for the NWSL playoffs.
Winners of its last two, Racing is hoping to hit the first three-game winning streak in club history and break its attendance record of 10,214, set against Angel City FC in 2023.
The recent hot stretch from Racing Louisville has picked it up 10 points in five matches, putting them within seven points of the postseason.
Tickets are available here, via SeatGeek or by calling 502-568-2489. Fan Ticket Packs are also available, which include a concession voucher in addition to the ticket.
If you have never attended a pro soccer match at Lynn Family Stadium, you can claim a free ticket thanks to the club’s partnership with Kroger. More information can be found here.
Also, for Monday, Aug. 10, the club is running a $5.02 flash sale that lasts 24 hours.
Saturday’s match with Boston Legacy FC kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15. There will also be a t-shirt giveaway, fireworks, a flyover and a post-game meet and greet.
