A woman who alleges inappropriate behaviour by Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor at Royal Ascot was working as a waitress, it was revealed. Police are probing the claims as part of a wider investigation into the royal, 66, over the offence of misconduct in public office. Andrew is accused of behaving inappropriately towards her at the swanky racing festival in 2002. His mum Queen Elizabeth was at the Berkshire do with other top royals during her Golden Jubilee year. A Thames Valley spokeswoman said: “We cannot go into
specifics of our ongoing investigation, but we are following all reasonable lines of inquiry.” Police have not revealed when they were first made aware of the allegation. Andrew attended at least two of the five days of the festival in 2002 and was snapped with his brothers King Charles and Prince Edward. In 2000, the ex-prince hosted paedo tycoon Jeffrey Epstein and the financier’s disgraced pal Ghislaine Maxwell in the royal enclosure on Ladies’ Day. In February, Andrew was arrested on his 66th birthday on
the Sandringham estate in Norfolk on suspicion of misconduct in public office. He was released under investigation. Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing. It comes as detectives are probing the former duke’s ten-year stint as a government trade envoy from 2001-11. Bombshell files released by the US justice chiefs allege he shared confidential government reports with sex monster Epstein. The force recently revealed its inquiry covers a wider range of potential crimes including sexual offences and corruption. Police chiefs said any new evidence could form
part of its investigation or be pursued as “standalone” offences. The King has previously offered to “fully co-operate” with the police probe into Andrew. Buckingham Palace said: “Since there is an ongoing police inquiry concerning Mr Mountbatten-Windsor, it is not possible to provide any comment on these matters.” Andrew was contacted for comment yesterday (Sun). Wait so the woman was a waitress back then? That’s like the most random detail ever but also makes me more suspicious, idk. 2002 was a long time ago but police are still looking so… yeah not a good look.
I’m confused, because they say “misconduct in public office” but also mention sexual offenses and corruption. Like is it about the office paperwork or the whole Epstein thing? And if they can’t share specifics, how do they even know what they’re probing?
Royal Ascot and “swanky racing festival” and he’s got Epstein connections and now this waitress story from 2002… sounds like a pattern to me. Also he got arrested on his birthday?? That just feels like headline bait honestly. If Charles and William wanted a financial audit, that proves they were panicking about something, not just morals.
