Powerball jackpot jumps to $302 million for June 20

No ticket matched all six numbers earlier this week, and the Powerball jackpot has climbed back above $300 million. The June 20 drawing is set with an estimated $302 million prize and a $135.3 million cash option.
For the next Powerball draw, the jackpot is no longer hovering—it’s swelling. After earlier this week’s game produced no tickets matching all six numbers, the Powerball prize is back above $300 million for the lottery on Saturday, June 20.
Tonight’s estimated jackpot is $302 million, with a $135.3 million cash option. The run of rollovers continues after earlier splits: two tickets split a $20 million jackpot on May 2, and seven jackpots have already been won nationwide in 2026.
Powerball has a long history of big hits. Since launching in 1992, jackpots have been won more than 400 times, with Indiana, Missouri, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin among the states that have produced the most jackpot-winning tickets.
Here’s what players need to know for the June 20 drawing, including how to play and where to find the official results.
The winning numbers for June 20 drawing
The winning numbers will be posted after the lottery drawing at 10:59 p.m. ET.
What you need to know about playing
You do not have to be a U.S. citizen or resident to play Powerball. Anyone can buy a ticket from an authorized retailer in participating jurisdictions—including the 45 states. Washington. D.C. Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands—so long as they meet the legal age requirement, typically 18.
How Powerball works
Powerball tickets cost $2 per play and are sold in 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets are available at convenience stores, gas stations and grocery stores, and in some states online.
Players choose five numbers from 1 to 69 and one Powerball number from 1 to 26. For an extra $1, the Power Play option can multiply non-jackpot winnings. A Quick Pick lets the computer select numbers at random.
To win the jackpot, a ticket must match all five white balls and the red Powerball. Drawings are held Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights, and the jackpot grows until it is won.

302 million again? That’s basically guaranteed, right?
So it says $135.3m cash option… but isn’t cash usually less like always? Still might be worth it if you win.
I saw this and thought it was June 20 already like today lol. Also “you don’t have to be a U.S. citizen”??? so anyone can just buy it? I guess that explains why they keep rolling it over.
The article says no one matched all six numbers earlier this week, but then it mentions splits and other jackpots in 2026… so like did it actually miss or did someone hit and they just not saying it? Either way I’m buying a quick pick and hoping the Powerball number is my birthday again (it never is).
