Sunday morning should cool into the low 80s before temperatures climb again to around 109° during the afternoon. Isolated showers and storms are expected once more across the higher terrain north and east of the Valley.

Monday’s forecast calls for a high near 109°, and Tuesday is expected to reach about 110°. The overall pattern stays warm through the middle and end of next week, with highs generally running between 105° and 109°.

In the High Country. scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue through this afternoon before tapering off tonight. then redeveloping Sunday afternoon. Storm chances rise to around 20% across the White Mountains on Monday. After that, chances are expected to fall into the 10–20% range Monday night into Tuesday.

Much of the rest of the mountains is forecast to remain mostly dry through the week, with only slight storm chances returning by late next week.
