Pete Davidson Praises Kim Kardashian as Superhuman

On The Pete Davidson Show, Pete Davidson praised ex Kim Kardashian’s acting, crediting her confidence, resilience to criticism, and bold decision-making after their 2022 breakup.

Pete Davidson didn’t sound like he was trying to smooth over the past—he sounded like he was stunned by what Kim Kardashian pulled off.

During Friday’s episode of The Pete Davidson Show. Davidson sat down with Nikki Glaser. who stars in the upcoming Netflix movie The Fifth Wheel alongside Fortune Feimster and Brenda Song. The conversation quickly turned to Kim, and Davidson leaned into a very specific compliment about her new career chapter.

“Isn’t it crazy Kim’s good at acting?” he asked Glaser. Glaser answered, “She’s great!”

Their exchange landed with extra weight because Davidson and Kardashian dated for nine months before breaking up in 2022. In the time they were together, Davidson said Kardashian brought up acting herself—before the world had settled into its opinions.

“I remember when we were dating, one day she was just like, ‘I think I’m gonna be an actress.’ And I was just like, ‘F**k yeah!’ And then [she’s] just good at it and I’m like, ‘Get the f**k out of here.’ She’s so good at acting.”

A year after their split, Kardashian made her acting debut in American Horror Story: Delicate. She later starred in All’s Fair, and now she’s headed into comedy with Nikki Glaser in The Fifth Wheel.

Glaser said working with Kardashian reminded her of how sharp Kardashian is. Davidson, meanwhile, went even further—pushing praise from “talent” into something closer to conviction.

The 41-year-old comic looked back on Kardashian’s choices. praising her as “so smart.” Glaser added that Kardashian keeps going even when people doubt her: “Anything she wants to do. she will do it. especially if people are like. ‘You can’t do this.’ And for her to go into acting with all the public perception of her anyway. she knew … everyone’s gonna look for her to fail.”.

What Glaser seemed most impressed by was the sheer nerve required to step into a role while knowing the attention wouldn’t be gentle. And Davidson agreed.

“You know people are gonna try to find your weakness,” Glaser said, before Davidson responded with his own comparison—describing Kardashian as fearless about the noise.

“She’s superhuman. I learned from her that no matter what’s going on, like whatever in the news, you’re still you, and you can just still do s**t. Like, she don’t give a f**k. It’s unbelievable.”

Glaser also praised Kardashian’s relationship with criticism. She said Kardashian stays aware of what people are saying, but doesn’t let it move her, and even compared their reactions to what the public thinks is “big news.”

“She really impressed me with how much she is aware of what people are saying. but really does not let it get to her and is kind of unaware of some of the biggest stuff. Where I would ask her. and she’d be like. ‘What’s that?’ And I’m like. ‘The biggest news thing about [you].’ She protects herself from it. She exceeded my expectations. I already liked her, and she was just better than that.”.

By the end of their conversation, Davidson circled back to the part that felt most immediate: comedy.

“She’s f**king funny.”

From their nine-month relationship ending in 2022 to Kardashian’s acting push and now her upcoming comedy alongside Glaser, the picture that emerged on-air was clear: whatever critics might expect, Davidson—and Glaser—think Kardashian can handle far more than they assumed she would.
