Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt shift to co-parenting

Weeks after Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt split just five months after their daughter Scottie Rose was born, new claims point to a calmer, more collaborative setup. The latest details describe “productive conversations,” schedule changes to support parenting,

Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt were already dealing with an abrupt kind of change—breaking up earlier this month. just five months after welcoming their daughter. Scottie Rose. What added shock was Hewitt’s public claim that she was doing everything “on my own. ” a statement that insiders on Pete’s side have denied before.

Now, the picture looks different.

A new source for US Weekly. dated Friday. says the exes are “having productive conversations.” The report describes them working together on parenting. with Pete having adjusted his schedule to be there for their daughter. It also reiterates a painful but simple reality: Pete and Elsie both wanted the relationship to work. and it didn’t.

A second source goes further on what’s happening day to day. It says Pete has been making it his priority to be “very involved” in Scottie’s life. pushing back on what his circle described as a “totally false narrative” that he’s absent or uninvolved. The source frames Pete’s feelings around how the situation has been portrayed. saying that’s “just not the reality of the situation.”.

The financial side is also included in the latest details. The second source reiterates that Pete has been supporting Elsie and Scottie financially, saying he “has also been financially supporting both of them.”

Even as co-parenting appears to be improving, the report doesn’t pretend the breakup is easy. Pete is described as “definitely disappointed” that the relationship didn’t work out. The source says he felt they were in love and “in it for the long run. ” and that it’s a “bummer” to him to be a single dad now. The couple, the source adds, had “many plans for the future.”.

Earlier statements have also suggested it’s possible the two could reconcile, but for now the emphasis in the new reporting is on how they’re handling the most immediate job: parenting Scottie Rose.

In a moment that began with claims of doing everything alone, the updated details point toward something steadier—schedule adjustments, ongoing involvement, and continued financial support—while both sides navigate what went wrong and what comes next for their family.

  1. US Weekly always says “productive conversations” like that means anything. One day she says on my own, next day it’s co-parenting… sounds like PR to me.

  2. I mean didn’t he literally just get famous like yesterday lol. If he’s “financially supporting” her then how is she claiming she did everything alone? math ain’t mathin.

  3. I don’t buy the whole “totally false narrative” thing. People say stuff to protect themselves, but “he’s disappointed” like he didn’t help cause the chaos? Also single dad?? five months after birth isn’t even enough time for real co-parenting, it’s more like damage control.
