For the ceremony. Edwards walked into Dana Harel lace in a design she said she “always envisioned [herself] in.” The gown featured long sleeves. a semi-sheer silhouette. an exposed corset and a long train. She finished it with a long tulle veil, crystal earrings, and silver hoops in her cartilage piercings.
After the ceremony, she changed for her first dance in a Galia Lahav crystal-embellished dress. That look leaned into sparkle and shape. with spaghetti straps. built-in bedazzled cups. a sheer skirt. and a thigh-high slit—topped off with a train. Edwards teamed the dress with Jimmy Choo heels. For the dance, she took her hair down and wore her blonde hair in loose curls.
Later, Edwards made another switch for the evening: a custom mini dress from Annie’s Ibiza. She circled back to her lace theme again. this time in a frock with short sleeves. a corset. and a cowl skirt. A headdress covered her hair, and she wore Christian Louboutin heels. “I wanted to change for the evening so I could dance and be free,” she explained. “It was short and fun and fab and cinched to the heavens with the corset!”.
Her glam for the day was soft and polished—dewy skin, filled-in eyebrows, long lashes, rosy cheeks, and pink-lined lips—while her blonde hair was parted down the middle and styled in a slicked-back bun for the ceremony.
The wedding moments weren’t only about the dresses. Edwards also shared a nerve-jolting memory from the days leading up to the trip: the diamond necklace Oxlade-Chamberlain gave her when she gave birth to Axel. “I wear it every single day, but the day before I came to Portugal, it went missing,” she said. “I cried all day, we looked everywhere – we even checked the Hoover – but it was gone. I was convinced someone had stolen it.”.
Hairstylist Aaron Carlo stepped in while sorting through her hair extensions. Edwards said he found the jewelry and reassured her with what he called her “something old. your something new. your everything in one.” She recalled his words: “He said. ‘OK. Perrie: what I’m about to show you is your something old. your something new. your everything in one. and you’re going to cry. ’” and then added. “I sobbed. I was so happy and so relieved. It set the tone – I knew from that moment it was gonna be the best day ever.”.
