Pedalfest 2026 adds both races at Silver Star July 11

Pedalfest 2026 expands to include both men’s and women’s enduro racing at Silver Star Pedalfest expands for 2026 The North Okanagan Cycling Society (NOCS) has announced the return of Pedalfest 2026, expanding its traditional format into a dual-gender mountain bike enduro race at Silver Star Mountain Resort on July 11. Building on five years of success as a women’s-only enduro, this year’s event will bring together both men and women for a full day of trail racing. The competitive action kicks off with the men’s
race at 9 a.m., followed closely by the women’s field at 9:30 a.m. on Silver Star’s premier trail network. Predator Ridge and Tourism Vernon have signed on as the event’s major sponsors. As part of its title sponsorship, Predator Ridge is offering all race participants a chance to win a Stay & Play resort getaway package valued at $2,000, which includes a two-night stay and a golf experience for two. “Pedalfest is more than a race, it’s a celebration of mountain biking, community, and the
incredible trail network we’re fortunate to have in the North Okanagan,” said Julie Melanson, executive director of NOCS. “Bringing riders together for a full day of racing creates an inclusive event that highlights the strength and spirit of our cycling community.” To accommodate out-of-town racers and spectators looking for a summer weekend getaway, camping is available at the Silver Star Village Campground alongside the resort’s standard village accommodations. Registration for the enduro is officially open. Racers can find course maps, event schedules, and registration details

Is this the same place where they always close the trails? lol
July 11 sounds fun but $2k stay and play for two is kinda confusing—like does everyone get a chance or just top racers? Either way I hope they don’t overschedule the day.
Wait so it’s a men’s race at 9 then women at 9:30… so are they riding the same exact trail the whole time or different stuff? Also I saw “enduro” and thought it was like a road race, my bad I guess.
Predator Ridge always has some promo going on. I’m not even sure why people need both genders racing together, like won’t that mess up competition? But I guess it’s “inclusive” so whatever. Silver Star is beautiful though, maybe I should go camp and watch even if I don’t ride.
