Arrival 10th – Paramount Home Media Distribution will release a new 4K Blu-ray SteelBook celebrating the 10th anniversary of Denis Villeneuve’s “Arrival,” with the set scheduled to hit the market on September 8, 2026.
A little more than a year after moviegoers first leaned into Denis Villeneuve’s 2016 masterpiece, Paramount Home Media Distribution is preparing a new way to revisit it.
The company will celebrate the film’s 10th anniversary with a brand new 4K Blu-ray SteelBook release of “Arrival.” The set is scheduled to arrive on the market on September 8th.
The film follows mysterious spacecraft that touch down across the globe, triggering fear and urgency among governments. An elite team led by expert translator Louise Banks races against time to decipher the aliens’ intent. In the story, Louise Banks—played by Academy Award® nominee Amy Adams—eventually discovers the aliens’ true purpose. She then takes a chance that could threaten her life, and quite possibly humanity, as tensions mount between fearful governments.
Amy Adams is joined by Oscar® nominee Jeremy Renner and Academy Award® winner Forest Whitaker.
The release also comes with high praise attached to the film’s legacy. Critics have called “Arrival” “the best film of the year” (Christopher Orr, The Atlantic). Us Weekly describes it as a “stunning. stellar masterpiece” (Mara Reinstein). while USA Today points to “a mind-blowing ending” (Brian Truitt). Collider says “you will want to see again and again” (Brian Formo).
