Paramount+ Keeps July Busy with Finals, UFC, Basketball

Everything new – July 2026 on Paramount+ is a mix of wrap-ups and big-name sports: “Dutton Ranch” ends its first season, “The Chi” and several other series hit finales, and the calendar fills with WNBA games, UFC nights, Big 3 and PGA Tour coverage.
A quiet, light month this isn’t. By early July, Paramount+ is already ending stories and lighting up fight nights and courts—starting with “Dutton Ranch,” a new ranch drama that’s closing out its first season as the rest of the summer lineup begins to accelerate.
On the streaming side, film fans get a library-heavy month rather than a rush of brand-new debuts. The titles arriving include the “Expendables” franchise—“The Expendables. ” “The Expendables 2. ” “The Expendables 3. ” and “The Expendables 4”—along with “Steel Magnolias. ” “Everybody Wants Some!!” and “Deepwater Horizon.”.
But the real sense of momentum hits in July’s release schedule for TV, where finales stack up across genres. “Dutton Ranch” lands its Season 1 finale on July 3, and the series has already been renewed for Season 2. Later in the month. “The Chi” closes out with its series finale on July 24. while “Tyler Perry’s Zatima. ” “RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars. ” “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars: Untucked. ” and “Criminal Minds: Evolution” also take their turns at the end-of-season curtain.
And then there’s sports—Paramount+ leans hard into live events throughout July, running the gamut from WNBA matchups and Big 3 Basketball to UFC fights and PGA Tour coverage.

Sports begin to stack immediately after. On July 4, “WNBA: Golden State Valkyries vs. Atlanta Dream” airs, and coverage begins for the PGA Tour’s “John Deere Classic” on July 4–5 with third and fourth round coverage. Big 3 Basketball hits on July 5 with “Canada Sail Grand Prix.”
The first major series finale of the month lands on July 7, when “Tyler Perry’s Zatima” Season 4 finale releases. The same week, July 9 brings “Big Brother” Season 28.
As the calendar tightens, Paramount+ keeps both entertainment and sports moving. July 11 pairs “SPFL Premier Sports Cup: Stirling Albion vs. Dundee United” with “UFC 329: McGregor vs. Holloway 2” and another WNBA matchup—“WNBA: Portland Fire vs. Atlanta Dream.” PGA Tour coverage resumes July 11–12 for the “Genesis Scottish Open” with third and fourth round coverage.

By mid-month, the rhythm keeps changing—new sports matchups, multiple football cups, and UFC fights—while TV finales keep arriving. A new wave of live action arrives July 19, including the “2026 SBD World’s Strongest Man Final,” “PGA Tour” doesn’t appear on that date in the list, but Big 3 Basketball returns with “Big3 Basketball,” and “WNBA: Chicago Sky vs. Atlanta Dream” follows.
July 21 brings “Teen Mom UK: New Generation” Season 4. Then comes another finale: July 22 features “All the Queen’s Men” Season 5 finale, and the SPFL Premier Sports Cup keeps rolling with “St. Mirren vs. Dunfermline Athletic.”
On July 23, “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” Season 4 arrives, alongside “Criminal Minds: Evolution” Season 19 finale. July 24 is reserved for a major closing moment: “The Chi” series finale.
The month closes with more fight nights and tournaments. July 25 includes “Ripken National Championships” and “UFC Fight Night: Ankalaev vs. Rountree Jr.” PGA Tour coverage continues July 25–26 for the “3M Open” with third and fourth round coverage.
July 26 brings a full sports slate: “BIG3 Basketball. ” “PBR Teams Season Preview Show. ” “SPFL Premier Sports Cup: Queen of the South vs. Aberdeen,” “Zuffa Boxing 09: Berlanga vs. Butler,” and “SPFL Premier Sports Cup: Queen of the South vs. Aberdeen” and additional coverage in the list’s order, plus “PBR Teams Season Preview Show” and “Zuffa Boxing 09: Berlanga vs. Butler.” On July 31, “PBR Teams Series: PBR Wildcatter Days” finishes out the month.
All of it adds up to a Paramount+ July that feels less like a breather and more like a sprint—story endings in the same weeks as UFC cards, WNBA nights, and PGA Tour coverage, with a film-heavy library underneath it all.

July on Paramount+ is basically fights and hoops now I guess.
So Dutton Ranch ends season 1 on July 3 but it’s renewed already? That seems pointless like why not just wait lol. Also UFC on a streaming app is getting wild.
I’m confused, are they ending “The Chi” too or is that another show? The article says finales stack up but then cuts off, so maybe I’m missing what day. And why are they dropping all the Expendables 4 movies like that—are they trying to replace cable or something.
Expendables 4 is already old, I don’t get it. Feels like Paramount+ just shoves popular stuff into the summer so people don’t cancel. UFC nights plus Big 3 plus PGA is like too many sports at once, then they still call it a “quiet, light month”??
