The Hobart-Lawrence Police Department said it was dispatched on May 23, 2026, at approximately 8:37 a.m. to a disturbance complaint involving Jacobs. After an investigation. Jacobs was arrested on May 26. 2026. and booked into the Brown County Jail on the following charges: Battery – Domestic Abuse; Criminal Damage to Property – Domestic Abuse; Disorderly Conduct – Domestic Abuse; Strangulation and Suffocation; and Intimidation of a Victim.
Officials said the case remains an active and ongoing investigation, and no further information will be released at this time.

Jacobs joined the Packers in 2024. He played college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide and was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft. He was named to the NFL All-Rookie Team in 2019 and to his first Pro Bowl in 2020.
