Olivia Culpo documented how she and husband Christian McCaffrey broke the news to their families that they’re expecting baby No. 2—before telling followers—showing a pregnancy-test reveal and playful messages for relatives.
The first person to look at the positive pregnancy test wasn’t Olivia Culpo—it was Christian McCaffrey.
In a video posted to Instagram. Culpo. 34. captioned the moment. “Telling our family I’m pregnant again ❤️. ” and shared a compilation of how the couple told their loved ones. The clip shows McCaffrey. 29. discovering the news first. turning the test toward his wife. and then the two of them watching their families realize what was coming.
The message didn’t land in a formal, stiff way. In the video. Culpo and McCaffrey play with the delivery: family members pose for a photo. and they ask relatives to say “Olivia’s pregnant again” instead of “cheese.” In another segment. The pregnancy fits into a quickly forming family timeline. Culpo and McCaffrey began dating in 2019 and married in 2024 in a Watch Hill, Rhode Island, ceremony. They welcomed Colette in July 2025.
In a February conversation with Us Weekly. Culpo described how close McCaffrey is with Colette and said she “always knew” he would be a great father. She told the outlet that he has a strong example in his parents. adding that he “will be such a good example and protector to her.” She also said she believes Colette will feel “like she has someone who loves her more than anything. ” framing it as something “everybody deserves to feel.”.
Culpo also predicted Colette would grow up as a “daddy’s girl,” pointing to what she sees day to day: “She loves her dad, and little girls really do,” she said. “You see the way that they light up with their dad.”
McCaffrey returned that sentiment in February as well. telling Us Weekly. “Watching Olivia become a mom has been so cool.” He said. “We had [Colette] in July. which was right before training camp so I was kind of in go-mode and went through the whole season.” Now. he added. it feels different: “So. to now take a breath and be able to be a dad has been really. really fun.”.
He said he and Culpo share the same values. and that “there’s never really any conflict when it comes to that stuff.” McCaffrey acknowledged that he can’t be there most of the day. but he said his daughter’s bond with her remains strong. and he described how the experience softens him: “As a girl dad. you definitely get softer. I don’t care what anyone says.”.
