A federal judge in Atlanta who was reprimanded after a judicial conduct committee found she had noisy sex in her chambers during business hours with a police officer not her husband has been identified as Eleanor Ross.
Ross sits on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Her identity had previously been unknown to the public, after the conduct committee’s findings emerged without her name being publicly linked to the episode.
Ross was appointed by President Barack Obama during his second term. In November 2022, she was the judge who sentenced Todd Chrisley to 12 years in federal custody as part of his bank fraud and tax evasion case.
Ross’ reprimand came to wider attention after a report published Thursday identified her. The committee had determined that Ross had sex in her chambers with a cop during business hours. The conduct was reportedly within earshot of law clerks.
The officer involved was reported to be Atlanta Police Department Deputy Chief Kelley Collier.
Chrisley, who served more than three years of his sentence before President Trump pardoned him last year, responded publicly online. He blasted Ross on social media, calling her a “corrupt judge who couldn’t focus on our case because she was to busy clapping dem cheeks in her chambers.”

So she got reprimanded for… having sex during business hours? Cool cool. Meanwhile judges are supposed to be “impartial” but I guess that goes out the window.
I don’t even know what’s real here. Like they say it was during business hours and law clerks could hear?? But how does that even get proven. Also Chrisley’s people always exaggerate, so I’m like… is this just revenge because Trump pardoned him or what.
Obama appointee gets caught and everybody acts surprised. It’s always some “judicial conduct” thing after the fact. And a police officer too?? That’s wild. Not saying I know the full story but if she was sentencing Chrisley in 2022 then she’s either distracted or this is payback for whatever department/politics. Also the headline says “noisy sex” like bro can we just focus on the case and the facts? I mean they could’ve been in a hallway or something, but of course the internet gonna run with it.
