North West didn’t just attend Paris Fashion Week—she took her seat like she belonged there.

Kim Kardashian’s 13-year-old daughter sat in the front row of Vetements’ menswear spring/summer 2027 show on Friday, June 26. For the occasion, the teen wore an oversized black hoodie paired with a coordinating miniskirt. She finished the look with chain-accented combat boots and a spiky choker necklace.

Her glam had its own storyline. North wore her bright blue locks in a pair of high ponytails, giving the outfit an unmistakable pop against the show’s menswear vibe.

Back home, Kardashian has repeatedly pushed back against critics who question North’s bold approach to style. Kardashian—who is 45 and shares North with ex-husband Kanye West—has also said she tries not to pay attention to judgment from the outside world. She told Khloé Kardashian on a January episode of her sister’s eponymous podcast. saying. “She really is who she is and always has been. and so I nurture her.”.

Kardashian continued, “I’m not a judgmental person like that, so I try not to pay attention to it. No one unless they’re in my shoes of what I’m dealing with and how we have to manage certain things from the outside world or even close in our life.”

She added that North has rules—but that style expression is one area she encourages: “Northie actually has a lot of rules, [but] the one area is I do let her express herself and I let her do that. I love her for that.”

That attitude shows up in how Kardashian describes North’s day-to-day life, too. Kardashian has said North is homeschooled and that a lot of it is “me helping her do a lot of the teachings.” She has described building lessons around what North is interested in. including “realistic courses [of] things that she’s really into. ” along with math-focused activities like budgets and buying items and then adding and subtracting them.

She has also said North has a “brand-building class” that functions like an actual course with an interactive curriculum, where North had an idea for making hats and making jewelry—projects that tie her creativity directly into her education.

She has said North also spends time in the recording studio to work on her debut album. and that she even incorporates North’s writing into schooling by using it as part of spelling tests.

“It’s been so fun to see her blossom. ” Kardashian said. adding. “I’ll add her writing out all her lyrics as part of her spelling tests.” She concluded by describing how the setup supports both challenge and creativity: “We do all of the things at home that she really enjoys and are challenging. and I think [people] would be proud to see how smart she really is and how creative she really is.”.
