Nicolle Wallace Spots How Trump ‘Ended Up Confirming’ What He’d Just Denied

MS NOW’s Nicolle Wallace on Thursday highlighted how Donald Trump’s latest denial of a damaging report actually “kind of sorta ended up confirming it.”

In a Truth Social post, Trump denied a Reuters report that the U.S. is running low on highly accurate long-range missiles amid his war with Iran.

“The U.S. has massive amounts of ‘munitions,’ especially of certain types. Additionally, large amounts are being manufactured and shipped to the U.S. as needed,” he wrote, later warning: “The ‘leakers’ of these treasonous statements are being hunted down. Long term jail sentences will be sought!”

Wallace pointed out “the only problem” for Trump was that “in denying it, he also attempted to refute the reporting and kind of sorta ended up confirming it.”

“The funny thing is, if any of this is funny, if you’re going to prosecute someone for a leak that generally means the information that is in the paper is so true that it’s dangerous,” she said, noting how “lies are not punishable with jail time.”

Trump therefore revealed “the accuracy of reporting while trying to deny it and jail the people at the same time,” she summarized.
