The sentence followed his May conviction for attempted murder and other charges stemming from the 2024 stabbing attack on his estranged girlfriend. makeup artist Allie Shehorn. based in Los Angeles.

Jurors found Pasqual guilty of attempted murder. They also found special allegations that the attack caused great bodily injury in a domestic case involving a weapon. Shehorn attended the sentencing on Tuesday at the San Fernando Courthouse. She told the court she was still able to reach back to the physical reality of what happened to her.

Shehorn is a special effects and makeup artist who has worked on a range of projects, including the 2024 “Mean Girls” musical remake, the two “Rebel Moon” movies, and the horror sensation “Obsession.” During the trial, she previously appeared as a witness with visible scars on her neck and arm.

At trial, Shehorn described what she did in the moments after the attack began. She testified that she locked the door, then said Pasqual started punching holes in it and broke it open. She told the court she ran into the bathroom because she believed there was another lock on that door.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said Pasqual fled after the stabbing and was later detained at a U.S.-Mexico border checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas.

The sentence brings an end to a case that began with a restraining order and, Shehorn said, escalated into an assault so violent she was left remembering blood, fear, and pain while jurors weighed the full set of charges against Pasqual.

  1. I swear actors always think they’ll get some slap on the wrist. If it was attempted murder and rape allegations too then yeah, 32 years sounds about right. I didn’t even know her til this popped up.

  2. Wait so was this the same guy from Rebel Moon or am I mixing him up? Because I saw something on TikTok like “he ran to Mexico” and I thought that was just like escaping a ticket lol. 32 to life still seems crazy long, but if the jury found him guilty then whatever.

  3. The part about her reaching back to the physical reality like… that’s just brutal. Also restraining order to all this? Makes me think LA courts are too soft, like it should’ve stopped earlier. How does someone even go from a relationship to burglary and rape charges in one month, and then they still get convicted like normal? I just can’t wrap my head around it.
