Netflix’s July 2026 lineup explodes with new thrillers

Netflix’s July – Netflix kicks off July 2026 with “Enola Holmes 3,” then keeps rolling through “Ransom Canyon” Season 2, “Heartstopper Forever,” and a big wave of movie additions—from all “Hunger Games” films to “Nomadland,” “Hamnet,” “Tar,” “Gone Girl,” and the first three “S

For anyone who plans their entertainment like it’s a calendar full of dates, Netflix is already making July feel crowded—on purpose.

The month starts with “Enola Holmes 3,” the newest entry in the YA mystery series built around Sherlock Holmes’ intrepid sister. Millie Bobby Brown returns as Enola for the third film, which sends her to Malta, where her wedding is interrupted by a kidnapping plot and a whole lot of action.

Netflix doesn’t slow down after that. “Ransom Canyon” Season 2 arrives as well, and “Heartstopper Forever” lands as the feature-length finale for the beloved series. If you’re looking for where to split your time between binge-worthy drama and pop-culture nostalgia. Netflix has two directions ready: romance and mystery on one hand. and a full stack of genre hits on the other.

The library additions are where July really shows off. Netflix is bringing all of the “Hunger Games” movies to the platform—an all-but-invitation to revisit the dystopian franchise ahead of the prequel adaptation “Sunrise on the Reaping. ” which hits theaters this November. The movie queue also expands with awards-heavy titles like “Hamnet. ” “Nomadland. ” and “Tar. ” plus a Summerween mood for anyone who likes their thrills seasonal: “The Witch. ” “Gone Girl. ” and the first three “Scream” movies.

If you’re more of a series person, July’s TV schedule gives you multiple ways to go deep. Netflix adds all three seasons of “Hannibal,” the NBC series inspired by Thomas Harris’ iconic cannibal serial killer Hannibal Lecter. More TV comes in the form of “Heroes,” “The Tick,” “Dark Winds” Season 4, and “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” Season 3.

The pattern across the lineup is clear: Netflix is using July to deliver big-event premieres and recognizable comfort watches in the same month—so there’s something for first-time viewers and long-time fans to argue about, right from day one.
