Namibia pushes tourism and airport upgrades at Africa’s Travel Indaba

Namibia is using Africa’s Travel Indaba in Durban to spotlight tourism and airport infrastructure work, with the NAC and tourism operators seeking new partnerships.
Staff Reporter NAMIBIA is showcasing its tourism potential and airport infrastructure development at Africa’s Travel Indaba 2026 in Durban, South Africa, as the country seeks to strengthen its position as a key tourism and trade destination on the continent.. The Namibia Airports Company Limited (NAC) is among the Namibian exhibitors participating in the prestigious tourism trade event, at the Durban International Convention Centre (ICC) under the theme “Unlimited Africa: Growing Africa’s Tourism Economy”.. NAC, the event provides a strategic platform to promote Namibia to international tourism and trade stakeholders while highlighting ongoing infrastructure development aimed at improving connectivity and supporting economic growth.. competitiveness, sports tourism, culture and digital transformation.. South African President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to officially open the event, which runs until 14 May 2026..
