Mystikal’s Son Million Tyler Wants Dad Help in Prison

Million Tyler says his family has been going through an emotional stretch after Mystikal’s 20-year sentence, and he hopes his father gets the help he needs—even as he isn’t ready to visit him in prison.
Million Tyler says he’s been sitting with a lot since his father’s sentencing—and the hardest part isn’t just the years behind bars, it’s watching the moment play out in real time.
A few days after Mystikal was sentenced to 20 years behind bars after pleading guilty to raping a woman, Million told TMZ’s Charlie Neff that it’s been an emotional period for him and his family. He said he’s hoping for the best for his father, though he’s not yet ready to visit him in prison.
In their conversation. Million said he feels for the unnamed victim in this case as well as for his father. adding that he believes there are “no winners” when things like this happen. He also described what it was like to be in the courtroom while the victim told the court that Mystikal physically abused and then raped her—an exchange he called difficult to sit through.
Million, who is embarking on his own music career, said he hasn’t been able to create recently. He told Charlie Neff he’s been trying to get his emotions together amid the turmoil.
Looking ahead, Million said he wants to have a conversation with his dad in the future, but he couldn’t say when he’d be ready. He did leave his father with a message: “I hope you get the help you need. I really hope you do.”
The sentencing came after a victim in the case claimed Mystikal brutally sexually assaulted her in his Louisiana home in 2022. Before this case. Mystikal was convicted of sexual battery of the infirm in June 2003 and served time until his release from prison in January 2010. After leaving prison on that case, Mystikal registered as a sex offender.
For now, Million is focused on getting through the present—quietly hoping his father gets the help he needs, even as he takes his time before facing him again.
