A motor coach bus traveling north on Interstate 95 caught fire Sunday afternoon in Hampton, New Hampshire—close enough to the Towle Farm Road bridge that emergency lights quickly became part of the roadway.

Hampton Fire and Rescue said in a Facebook post shared around 3 p.m. that crews were responding to the fire just north of the Towle Farm Road bridge. Fire officials said all occupants were able to evacuate the bus safely.

“The bus driver was pretty quick and able to move everyone off,” Captain Damien Savin told Boston.com. Savin said there were no reported injuries and no one was taken to the hospital.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Savin said it appears the blaze originated in the wheel area of the bus, though the cause has not been officially confirmed.

Travelers were warned to expect major traffic delays as emergency responders continued working at the scene. Fire officials wrote on Facebook: “Please use caution if traveling through the area, slow down, move over for emergency vehicles, and consider seeking an alternate route if possible.”
