The former tennis WAG and influencer posted a slide show from the New York area. captioned “sportmaxxing / lifemaxxing / nycmaxxing / knicksmaxxing.” The photos included her and a friend attending the Brazil–Morocco draw on June 13. Other images from the sequence looked past the pitch too: scenes from the aftermath of the Knicks’ NBA Finals win over the San Antonio Spurs. plus a picture from a New York Liberty game in Brooklyn.

Riddle rose to mainstream attention after she began dating US tennis player Taylor Fritz in 2020. “I made, like, a 33-point non-negotiables list for [my next relationship],” Riddle said. “It has basic things like political alignment, shared life goals, intellectual intimacy, no sports betting or gambling, only makes my life happier.”

Her vow, though, met instant pushback from her followers. Several people pointed directly at the contrast between her “never date an athlete again” promise and her appearance at the World Cup. “Be funny if she attracts another sportsperson when she’s not wanting another,” one follower wrote on Instagram. Another asked, “After a Brazilian?”.

Others also fixated on Fritz and how the breakup sits alongside tennis updates. “Several wondered ‘how Fritz lost’ Riddle, which he has not really addressed publicly,” the account notes.

While Riddle kept attention on the World Cup, Fritz’s tennis weekend carried its own headline. The US player fell to fellow American Frances Tiafoe in Halle, Germany, on Sunday, losing 6-4 6-4. Tiafoe’s win gave him his first tournament title of the year and the fourth of his career.

In New York, Riddle’s World Cup post added a new layer to the story—proof, at least in the eyes of her audience, that her public life is moving fast even as she insists her personal rules are staying still.
