Minka Kelly and Dan Reynolds finally posed on a red carpet together for the first time in more than three years of dating, stepping out at the 2026 MOCA Gala in Los Angeles on May 30.
They’ve been together for years, but until now, the red carpet has stayed just out of reach.

This moment is especially notable because their previous joint photo appearance at an event came at the Gladiator II screening in October 2024. That outing, however, wasn’t a red carpet moment.
Kelly and Reynolds’ relationship has been public since late 2022, when they were first linked in November 2022. Their timeline picked up momentum shortly after Reynolds revealed his split from his longtime wife, Aja Volkman.
Before they ever got to spend real time together, the setup was delayed. In an interview from July 2024, Reynolds said he and Kelly were introduced by a mutual friend. The catch: they didn’t get to meet in person for several weeks because she was working in the UK.
In the meantime, they kept the connection going through music and writing. Reynolds ended up sending Kelly some of the music he was working on. In response. Kelly sent him passages and drafts of her memoir. “Tell Me Everything. ” which she described as including details about her love life and the tension she experienced on the Friday Night Lights set.
The couple’s growing closeness also played out online. In honor of Reynolds’ 38th birthday in July 2025, Kelly posted a tribute on Instagram, sharing how he changed her life.
For now, the MOCA Gala marks a new milestone for their relationship—one that feels like a natural next step after years of shared moments off the red carpet.
