MGK and YUNGBLUD feud turns personal over loyalty

MGK and – Machine Gun Kelly’s diss era and a heated live remark have fanned an ongoing feud with YUNGBLUD—now escalated online after YUNGBLUD promoted his BLUDFEST and MGK fired off a since-deleted comment targeting his tour situation, mental health claims, and ties to
For a while, Machine Gun Kelly and YUNGBLUD felt like a once-close duo that still made music together—crossovers, collaborations, and a shared lane in pop-punk chaos. But lately, their friendship has frayed in public, and this week it turned sharp enough to cut through the noise.
The rupture started long enough ago for fans to recognize the pattern—then MGK escalated it again right in the comments.
MGK’s first move that really lit the fuse came in April. when he released a diss track with Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit called FIX UR FACE. The song includes references to YUNGBLUD. including lines about “Mickey Mouse kids turned rockstars / Leaving private schools. tryna be outlaws.” With YUNGBLUD both attending private school and appearing on the Disney show The Lodge in 2016. fans quickly clocked the target.
MGK didn’t just leave it there. Earlier this month. he appeared to call out YUNGBLUD during a live performance while talking about artists who “switch up” after becoming famous. Soon after. he addressed the speculation on the Garza podcast. saying the track is “three minutes of lines about different things. ” and that “loyalty is really the only thing that matters.” He added that when he opens up. it means he’s “vulnerable. ” but that something shifts when there’s an opportunity to defend a friend and it isn’t taken—“It shatters me. Be my friend the same way in public that you are in private. But it’s an angry line in an angry song… but that s**t hurt me.”.
Even so, he did give YUNGBLUD credit, calling him “super talented.” Still, MGK’s message centered on loyalty—what he values when the music stops.
In the same discussion. MGK went further: “But what I care about outside of everything. like. when the music’s over. it’s like. what do you stand for and what do you stand on?” He said the principle of loyalty “the way that it was done to me” wouldn’t have been handled the way he describes. and he pointed to watching other peers stand “next to me” without “moved with envy.”.
The feud’s origin isn’t only music—fans believe it’s tied to an interview YUNGBLUD did with the Osbourne family. In 2024. Kelly Osbourne accused MGK of ripping off YUNGBLUD’s “pink aesthetic” during his Mainstream Sellout era on The Osbournes podcast. Kelly Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne made it clear they don’t “like” the Bloody Valentine artist. YUNGBLUD. fans say. didn’t put much weight behind shutting it down. replying only “Fair” and trying to steer the conversation elsewhere.
The clip of the Osbournes bashing MGK no longer appears in the YouTube version of that episode, but it can still be found on Reddit.
YUNGBLUD has stayed close with the Osbournes, especially after the death of his pal and mentor Ozzy Osbourne, and that continued connection is what fans think has added fuel to MGK’s “loyalty” complaints.
Then came the newest flare-up.
This week, MGK apparently decided to go after YUNGBLUD online. The drama kicked off after YUNGBLUD posted a TikTok video talking about how “live music has become inaccessible” and “unaffordable. ” and how he created a cheaper concert experience for fans called BLUDFEST. In the post, he also said, “@BLUDFEST is 1 month away. Our culture, our community. See you there.”.
MGK spotted the post and jumped into the comments section. He wrote a since-deleted message accusing YUNGBLUD of cancelling a tour and then shifting blame: “You cancelled a tour because you couldn’t sell tickets blamed it on mental health then got parazzi’d at Nobu the next day Pinocchio. And your actual tour tickets are still the same price as every other artist. Shut the f**k up your silver spooned preachy wanker.”.
YUNGBLUD’s 2025 North American tour was cancelled last year amid concerns about his mental health and exhaustion. But he is back on the road this year. on a sold-out tour—and his team says he’s focused on that. not the feud. A rep told TMZ on Tuesday that “Dom has not commented directly as he is so busy focusing on his sold-out North American tour and finishing his next album.” The rep added. “He genuinely hasn’t got time to engage in any of this but we wish MGK the very best.”.
At this point, MGK hasn’t clapped back further. YUNGBLUD, for now, hasn’t responded either—except through the message he’s kept his attention elsewhere.
Given how directly this has turned into an argument over loyalty and timing—diss tracks, live remarks, and now a public comment attacking the way he handled his tour—fans are bracing for one uncomfortable conclusion: it may be over for good, and a future collaboration could be a long time coming.

Wait MGK is beefing with him over “loyalty”? Like bro it’s music not a prison movie.
I didn’t even know they were friends like that. The article makes it sound like MGK was targeting his tour stuff and mental health?? That seems… a lot.
Hold up, doesn’t YUNGBLUD promote BLUDFEST like it’s this big wholesome thing? If MGK commented about his mental health then he’s basically the villain?? Or maybe YUNGBLUD is lying about the tour situation, idk I only saw clips.
MGK shot off a deleted comment and now we’re here lol. Honestly these private school/Disney lines like “Mickey Mouse kids”… who cares. They’re both clout chasers, one just deletes faster. Also Fred Durst diss era feels like 2004 internet in 2026.
