Megan Thee Stallion hit the set like she owned the night.
On Friday. June 5. the 31-year-old rapper was spotted filming more scenes for Fox’s Baywatch reboot in Long Beach. Calif.—this time in a concert setup instead of the beach. Earlier in the day. she shot a beach running sequence. and then the production shifted to a stage moment where cameras caught her singing and dancing alongside backup performers in front of a crowd.
Bright purple and pink stage lights flooded the set as Megan worked the performance. She held a microphone, moved through choreographed routines, and interacted with dancers while the scene played out for the cameras. For the sequence. she wore a blue strappy crop top paired with oversized cargo-style pants. her long hair flowing down her back in the midst of the action.
Production for the reboot officially kicked off in mid-March and has been ongoing ever since, with multiple photos from the beach set already appearing. Matt Nix will serve as showrunner and executive producer, and McG is set to direct the first episode.
The series is scheduled to debut in January 2027 on Fox, following a 12-episode order announced back in September 2025.
Between the on-set energy and the song teasers, the buzz around Megan hasn’t slowed down. Fiery lyrics from Megan’s unreleased song have also been making the rounds, with the track seemingly taking aim at her ex, Klay Thompson.
For now, the most visible sign of what’s coming is Megan herself—bringing Baywatch iconography to life, one scene at a time, as filming continues in Long Beach.
