Roomies watched the numbers climb in real time: a $1.2 million lawsuit aimed at Megan Thee Stallion over alleged unpaid wardrobe services. Now Meg is answering back—hard—insisting her finance team found fraudulent invoices and charges she says can’t be substantiated.
The complaint, filed in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, was brought by Six K and Eric Archibald. In their account, Meg hired Archibald for multiple events but never paid him. They say those events ran from Jan. 8, 2024 through August 2025. The filing also claims they submitted invoices tied to each related Stallion entry from January 25. 2025 to January 8. 2026. and that each invoice included a deal memo acknowledging the related Stallion entry via email.
One invoice submitted as evidence alleges Megan and her entities owe Six K $1,243,501.98 for services across several events. The evidence packet includes a sample deal memo. along with a detailed breakdown of a July 8. 2025 invoice for styling services for the Pete & Thomas Foundation Inaugural Gala in New York City—an event Megan attended on July 16. 2025. That memo totals $53,800 and reportedly covers prep days, assistants and three gowns.
The lawsuit also portrays the impact as personal, not just financial. Archibald and Six K allege that because of the alleged lack of payment. a portion of the money owed covers vendors. They are demanding immediate payment for outstanding services. and the complaint alleges: “Despite the fact that Six K has made numerous and unsuccessful attempts to resolve payment over the course of the last two years. there is still no imminent direction towards settlement between the parties.”.
Meg’s response to the suit takes aim at the foundation of the paperwork. In a statement shared with PEOPLE. the rapper says her finance team ran a full audit of Eric Archibald’s wardrobe expenses and invoices. She claims they couldn’t verify the addresses tied to the charges. and that the investigation uncovered what she describes as fraudulent invoices. unsupported charges. and styling shipments linked to addresses that “could not be verified.”.
Her statement continues that her team tried to resolve the issues privately with Eric’s team, but that, in Meg’s telling, Eric and his team chose to file a lawsuit instead. She says the “facts are on our side” and adds: “I won’t be coerced into paying charges that can’t be substantiated.”
While the legal battle plays out on paper and in court filings. Roomies turned the story into a social media moment—reacting in droves after The Shade Room shared the details.
