The winning numbers have been drawn for the Friday, Sept. 11, Mega Millions jackpot, but players are still waiting to learn whether someone matched all six numbers to claim the estimated $209 million prize, worth about $89.7 million as a lump-sum cash option.
No one has won the Mega Millions jackpot since a Florida ticket scored an $800 million windfall on July 28, allowing the prize to grow through multiple rollovers. If no ticket matched all six numbers, the jackpot will climb even higher for the next drawing next week.

When is the next Mega Millions drawing?
If no jackpot-winning ticket was sold Friday, the next Mega Millions drawing will be held Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 11 p.m. ET, with a larger jackpot up for grabs. If there is a winner, the jackpot will reset for the next drawing.

How to play Mega Millions
Players choose five numbers from 1 to 70 and one Mega Ball number from 1 to 24. Tickets can be purchased at convenience stores, gas stations, grocery stores and, in some states, online. Players can also select a Quick Pick for randomly generated numbers.
Mega Millions tickets now include a built-in multiplier that boosts non-jackpot prizes by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X or 10X.
