‘Survivor’ 50 winner Aubry Bracco reveals her prize money plans
Aubry Bracco, winner of “Survivor” Season 50, tells USA TODAY what she plans on doing with her prize money at a live finale event.
“Survivor 50” may have been the show’s most highly anticipated season yet, but it sure wasn’t the last.
The Emmy-winning reality competition series returns this fall with Season 51, which will kick off what the show is calling its “open era.” As host Jeff Probst previously explained in the Season 50 finale, “every twist, every idol and advantage in the show’s history” may return and impact gameplay.
After uniting 24 former players last season, including some of the show’s most iconic and influential, the new season will introduce 21 new faces as they compete for $1 million.
The new cast features Americans, and some Canadians, from all walks of life, including a sociology professor, a farmer and a lingerie business owner. The cast also features some talent from Hollywood and the sports world, including former “Grey’s Anatomy” actor Devin Way, Strawberry Shortcake voice actress Ana Sani, former WWE star Brady Booker and Yankees executive Mike Pinsky.
They’ll all be divided in separate tribes, where the players will navigate life on an island, compete in daunting physical challenges, form alliances and vote each other out. In the end, only one will claim the prize pot and the title of sole “Survivor.”
