The Pumpkin Spice Latte returns to Starbucks coffeehouses on Aug. 25, and the coffee chain has tapped two celebrities to help spread the word across generations.

Martha Stewart, 85, and Belmont Cameli, 28, star in a new ad for the seasonal beverage. Posted on Starbucks’ Instagram on Aug 24, Stewart says the Pumpkin Spice Latte is the drink that “makes us all a little more basic.” After receiving her drink, Stewart says the drink “smells like my house in the fall. It’s perfect.”

Cameli then appears on screen with an Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte, asking for a straw. He then looks at Stewart before telling her, “You would get it hot.” Stewart then looks at the camera and asks, “Should I know him?” The ad ends with Cameli looking into the camera for a few seconds before winking.

‘Queen of Fall’ meets ‘New Prince of Pumpkin’

According to Starbucks, Stewart is the “queen of fall and keeping it real” and is known for her thoughts on the Pumpkin Spice Latte’s mainstream popularity. Cameli, on the other hand, is best known for portraying hockey star Garrett Graham in the hit TV series “Off Campus.”

Stewart commented on the Starbucks’ Instagram post saying, “Wow! The actor I was interacting with while we shot the commercial was a different guy – a ‘stand in’ – This guy is cuter!!!” Her behind-the-scenes comment has collected nearly 5,000 likes so far.

Starbucks’ PSL fans seem to like the collab.

“Queen of Fall New Prince of Pumpkin,” one commenter posted.

“Ok Starbucks if you’re targeting me specifically just say that!!” said another.

“ICONIC,” another wrote with a fire and pumpkin emoji.

What else is on Starbucks’ fall menu? Pumpkin, pecan, banana and chai

Starbucks is bringing back an “expanded lineup of new pumpkin spice drinks” this fall, including a new Iced Pumpkin Cream Shaken Espresso, a new Pumpkin Spice Chai and Iced Pumpkin Cream Matcha. Returning favorites such as the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai and Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino will also be available beginning Aug. 25.

In addition to pumpkin, pecan is also returning to Starbucks’ fall menu, bringing a “signature combination of nutty flavors, rich brown buttery notes and baking spices,” the coffee chain said. The Pecan Cortado, Iced Pecan Crunch Latte and Pecan Crunch Latte will be available beginning Aug. 25.

Starbucks is also expanding its banana-inspired lineup with two new beverages the company says are inspired by freshly baked banana bread – the Iced Banana Bread Latte and Iced Banana Bread Chai. Both beverages combine banana, cinnamon and brown sugar flavors to “create dessert-like notes reminiscent of warm baked treats,” according to Starbucks, and will be available beyond the fall season.

Also beginning Aug. 25, customers can enjoy a new Chaider beverage from Starbucks. The drink is a “cozy twist on chai,” according to the company, with cider-inspired flavors such as cinnamon and sweet spice and can be enjoyed hot or iced.

New food items will also be available as part of the fall menu, including a Chicken Bacon Protein Pocket, a Hedgehog Cake Pop and the returning Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin.
