A woman in Upper Southampton Township woke up to a nightmare she couldn’t shake off—someone restraining her on her bed—then heard the moment her screams forced him to let go.

On Monday, June 1, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office announced that Bucks County Common Pleas Judge Wallace H. Bateman Jr. sentenced Nafis Lamont Donte Fisher, 34, to four and a half to 10 years in state prison, followed by a consecutive five years of probation.

Fisher, who pleaded guilty to charges including burglary, aggravated assault, robbery, criminal trespassing, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and simple assault, was sentenced for an incident that prosecutors said happened on October 7, 2025, around 2:47 a.m.

That morning. a woman and her adult daughter were at their home in Upper Southampton Township when the daughter “awoke to find Fisher restraining her on her bed. ” according to the DA’s press release. Prosecutors said Fisher’s escape set off an even darker trail: “Her screams forced Fisher to release her and flee the room.”.

As he moved through the house, prosecutors said he encountered and briefly grappled with the victim’s mother in the hallway before fleeing through the kitchen, basement, and attached garage.

When police arrived, they found evidence left in the bedroom—“a large kitchen knife left on the victim’s bed and a 12-foot extension cord on the floor beside it,” the DA said.

Fisher then drove away from the home in a black sedan carrying the stolen items, including AirPods, identification, credit and debit cards and a U.S. passport. Investigators were able to locate him using technology tied to the audio device.

The DA’s office said law enforcement “successfully tracked Fisher in real-time by utilizing the ‘FindMy’ feature on the victim’s stolen AirPods.” The tracking signal led officers from Upper Southampton. down the Pennsylvania Turnpike and through Delaware County before officers stopped near Aramingo Avenue and E. Somerset Street in Philadelphia.

The Philadelphia Police Department was brought in to help find Fisher. He was found “resting” inside a black 2014 Kia Forte.

To confirm who they had, an Upper Southampton officer remotely activated the AirPods, which “emitted an audible tone from inside the vehicle.” Fisher was immediately detained and later made substantive admissions to investigators, the press release stated.

The aftermath has stayed with the family long after the courtroom decision. Bucks County First Assistant District Attorney Kristin McElroy called Fisher’s crime “the most frightening kind of burglary.”

According to the DA’s office, the adult daughter, 25, said she now lives with “a constant sense of fear whenever I’m alone at night.” She described how normal night noises now trigger “full-blown panic.”

Her mother, prosecutors said, has been dealing with lasting fear, severe anxiety and disturbed sleep since Fisher broke into their home.

  1. Extension cord?? Why would he even bring that. Also police pursuit using stolen Ai?? like that’s the part I’m hung up on. Was it an AI car or something lol.

  2. So he was on her bed with a knife and got sentenced, but he still walked away from the room first right? I just feel like the sentencing should be more than 10 if he was that bold. Like I don’t care what the plea deal was. Glad she screamed and forced him to let go, that’s terrifying.

  3. Honestly this sounds like one of those cases where they say “stolen items” and then it’s like… was it really stolen or was he just living his best life or something? And the real-time pursuit part, like did they track him with that AI thing they mentioned? Cuz if he had a knife and cord, why not just cuff him right away when police got there? Seems like there’s missing parts.
