Brandon Cora – A 27-year-old Middleborough man was arrested Friday after Mansfield police said he allegedly used a cellphone to secretly record beneath a 13-year-old girl’s skirt during a concert at Xfinity Center in Mansfield.
A concert night at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield turned into a moment of alarm after a witness alerted security to an alleged privacy and sexual assault incident involving a 13-year-old girl.
Mansfield police said the 27-year-old Middleborough man was arrested soon after the incident was reported. Officers were notified shortly after 6 p.m., and the “Southern Hospitality Tour” featuring The Black Crowes and Whiskey Myers was underway at the venue that evening.
Police said the victim and her family met with Mansfield Police on the scene, and investigators went to work immediately. Officers soon identified Brandon Cora as the suspect and took him into custody.
Cora was facing a charge of photographing sexual or intimate parts of a child. He was expected to be arraigned Monday in Attleboro District Court.
Mansfield Police Chief Ronald Sellon said in a statement that “This kind of invasive and disturbing behavior has no place in our society,” adding thanks to the witness who came forward, the victim’s family, and venue security for their actions.

I hate that this happened at a concert like that. Also why was a 13 year old even wearing stuff that would make it easy to record under a skirt?? Like I know it’s not her fault but still… people are disgusting.
They said “soon after” like within minutes, which is crazy. I’m guessing he had it set up already and they just caught him at the right time. But cellphones are everywhere now so what, they’re gonna start frisking everybody at Xfinity Center? Kinda feels like a slippery slope.

I saw a TikTok about this before I even read the article so I might be mixing it up, but I think they said he was recording in the crowd?? Either way, throwing him under the jail sounds right. Poor girl, I hope her family gets support.
