Major League Standings Shift After Weekend Results

MLB standings – Weekend MLB games reshuffled standings across both leagues, with teams like the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers tightening their grip at the top while others continue to chase ground down the division races.
Saturday and Sunday left lasting marks on Major League Baseball’s division races, with wins and losses moving teams closer—or pushing them farther—away from playoff spots.

The American League West has Texas at 42-42 (.500), Seattle at 42-43 (.494), Houston at 42-44 (.488), and Oakland—listed as Athletics—at 40-44 (.476). Los Angeles sits at 36-49 (.424), showing how much the division has tilted toward consistency rather than occasional surges.

So the Dodgers just magically got better? lol
I can’t believe they said “reshuffled” like it’s a deck of cards. Tampa up by 2 games and suddenly everything changes?? Also why Toronto so far back, did they forfeit or what.
Wait Milwaukee is 50-31 and somehow still “tight at the top”? That seems not tight, that’s like a gap. And the Mets aren’t even mentioned? Not sure if this is complete or if I’m missing something. My buddy said NY is good this year too but the standings show they’re dying.
This article is confusing because it lists “Oakland—listed as Athletics” like everybody forgets their name. Also AL Central tied Cleveland/Chicago?? That can’t be right, I swear Chicago was way behind last week. Then LA is dominating NL West at 54-30… okay so why do they still act like it’s a race if one team is basically already done. ESPN better explain the rest cuz this cut off with Arizona…
