Macron To Give US Court “Scientific Proof” Of His Wife’s Gender

French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, plan to submit photographic and scientific evidence to a US court to verify Brigitte’s gender.
According to the couple’s lawyer, they will present this evidence in a defamation case against right-wing US influencer Candace Owens.
The Macrons filed the lawsuit in Delaware in July after Owens claimed that Brigitte was born male.
In an interview on the BBC’s ‘Fame Under Fire’ podcast, the couple’s lawyer, Tom Clare, said Brigitte found the claims “incredibly upsetting,” and they are a “distraction” for the president.
“I don’t want to suggest that it somehow has thrown him off his game. But just like anybody who is juggling a career and a family life as well, when your family is under attack, it wears on you. And he’s not immune from that because he’s the president of a country,” Clare said.
He added that there will be “expert testimony that will come out that will be scientific in nature,” but he did not provide any further details.
He also stated that the couple is ready to prove both “generically and specifically” that the accusations are false.
Clare sympathized with the French first lady, saying that “it is a process that she will have to subject herself to in a very public way,” but clarified that “she’s willing to do it.”
Owens, a former commentator for the conservative US outlet Daily Wire, has repeatedly expressed her belief that Brigitte Macron is a man.
In March 2024, Owens claimed she would stake her “entire professional reputation” on her allegation.
