Lori Loughlin is back as Jennifer Shannon in a new Garage Sale Mystery movie for Hallmark, her first in seven years. The network has renewed the series and a brand new film is set for Fall 2026.
Lori Loughlin didn’t just tease a comeback—she gave Hallmark viewers a moment they’ve been waiting on.
In a video posted to social media. the actress announced that she is returning as Jennifer Shannon in a new Garage Sale Mystery movie. her first time playing the character in seven years. She told fans, “Hi everyone!. I am so excited to announce that we are bringing Garage Sale Mystery back. It’ll be coming your way sometime this fall. You can watch it on the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark+ the next day.”.
That seven-year gap has been tied to the franchise’s own rocky timeline. Loughlin starred in 16 films from 2013 to 2019, when the series was cancelled amid the college admissions scandal. The final movie was slated to air in 2019, but it was delayed until 2022 as the scandal continued to unfold.
Now, with Loughlin working again for Hallmark Channel, the network has renewed the series and is planning a brand new movie for Fall 2026.
The Garage Sale Mystery franchise is based on the book series by Suzi Weinert, who made a cameo in the first movie.
Loughlin’s Hallmark presence isn’t limited to the sale-themed mystery franchise either. She can also be seen in When Calls the Heart season 14, which will be back on Hallmark Channel next year.
