Logan Paul tears triceps, World Tag titles uncertain

Logan Paul is expected to be out after WWE revealed he suffered a triceps injury on Monday Night RAW. The injury comes right after a May 23 tag title defense, and as The Vision’s contract includes a clause allowing stablemates to defend the World Tag Team Cham
The lights were still bright on Monday Night RAW, but Logan Paul’s spotlight shifted fast. WWE announced that Paul would be out with a triceps injury, a brutal development that instantly reshapes the near-term plans for The Vision and the World Tag Team Championships he holds.
WWE laid the news out during the May 25 edition of RAW in a backstage segment featuring Austin Theory. Theory asked Paul Heyman about the status of the World Tag Team Championship—because Paul, The Vision’s “Maverick,” is one half of the champions.
Heyman’s answer brought a small jolt of relief for the titles at least. He revealed that he had put a clause into The Vision’s contract that allows any member of the stable to defend the championships. With that in place. Theory wouldn’t have to wait for Paul to return to stay in control of the storyline.
Theory will defend the World Tag Team Championships alongside Bron Breakker, who is healthy. Breakker, unlike Paul, is ready to step back into the ring.
Paul’s injury wasn’t picked up out of nowhere. It occurred during his tag team match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23. There, Paul teamed up with Austin Theory to defend the World Tag Team Championship against the Street Profits—Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins.
The timing adds weight to the setback. Paul has been part of The Vision since late 2025, aligning himself with Heyman and the stable after attacking CM Punk during a match involving Breakker and Bronson Reed. From there, he climbed back to championship gold.
On March 30, 2026, Paul won the World Tag Team Championship from The Usos—Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso—during the RAW edition of that date. Now, with his triceps injury forcing him away, the question becomes how long “The Maverick” will remain sidelined while the rest of The Vision keeps moving.
WWE has not provided a return timetable. It’s simply unknown when he will be back, and triceps injuries can keep Superstars out for extended periods, meaning fans may have to settle in for a waiting game.
The uncertainty lands right before WWE’s biggest stretch of the year. Fans will hope he’s fit in time for SummerSlam in August, which is WWE’s second biggest PLE of the year.
One more number tells the broader story of Paul’s momentum before this injury: since becoming a WWE Superstar, Logan Paul has won the United States Championship and the World Tag Team Championship once each. His United States Championship reign lasted 273 days before he lost it to LA Knight.
For now, the World Tag Team Championships remain defended—but the man at the center of that title picture is temporarily out. The next chapter belongs to Theory and a healthy Bron Breakker, while the unstable question of Paul’s recovery hangs over The Vision.

Man his triceps? WWE really be killing people 😬
So are they saying he’s injured but still gonna defend? Like how does that contract thing even work lol. I don’t watch RAW every week.
Wait I thought Logan was like, barely in the stable until 2025? And now it’s all “clause” stuff so Theory can just keep the titles without him?? Sounds kinda like cheating to me. Also Bron Breakker is healthy so of course they swap him in.
Triceps injury on Monday Night RAW… okay but I swear they do this every time someone starts getting momentum. Like they’ll write him out just to pump someone else up. The May 23 match against Street Profits though, that’s when it happened?? Makes me wonder if it’s WWE fixing the storyline again, not really his actual arm. Either way I’m confused about the tag titles being uncertain if they’re still defending them.
