The opening day dust has settled, and now the action starts back up for Day 2 of the 2026 Little League World Series.
Thursday’s schedule is packed with high-octane matchups you absolutely cannot afford to miss. The day kicks off with the International Bracket with a fierce battle as Australia takes on Mexico (3 p.m ET).
Due to inclement weather expected today, the United States bracket kicks into gear with a heavy-hitting showdown between the Great Lakes and Mountain regions (3 p.m. ET).
But wait, it gets even bigger. The late afternoon brings a clash of perennial global powerhouses when Curaçao faces off against Japan (6 p.m. ET). Finally, under the evening lights, the bats come alive as the West Region meets the Midwest Region (6 p.m. ET).
Will we have the next viral web gem, pitchers’ duel or walk-off hero? No matter what happens, USA TODAY Sports will provide game-by-game coverage on Thursday, Aug. 20.

- 3 p.m. – Game 5: Australia (V) vs. Mexico (H) – Volunteer Stadium
- 3 p.m. – Game 6: Great Lakes (V) vs. Mountain (H) – Lamade Stadium
- 6 p.m. – Game 7: Japan (V) vs. Curacao (H) – Volunteer Stadium
- 6 p.m. – Game 8: West (V) vs. Midwest (H) – Lamade Stadium
