Little Caesars releases Webberoni Pizza before Spider-Man debut

Little Caesars is rolling out a Spider-Man-themed “Webberoni Pizza” for $8.99, with web-style pepperoni and two-cheese topping, plus Spider-Man packaging, limited-edition posters, and a Brooklyn pop-up ahead of the July release of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”
By the time the trailer hype fades, the food stunt has a way of sticking.
Little Caesars is giving fans a reason to talk before the release of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.” The chain is rolling out a new Spidey-themed item called the “Webberoni Pizza,” timed for the film’s July debut.
The pizza itself is built for the theme. It comes topped with a toasted two-cheese blend and shredded pepperoni arranged to resemble a spider’s web. The price is $8.99.
Little Caesars says online orders will come with a built-in way for fans to customize. Customers can create their own “webbed” pizzas by adding the “web” of shredded pepperoni and toasted cheeses to any other pizza at an additional cost.
“We’re thrilled to work with Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day this summer to bring the world’s favorite superhero into our stores and homes across the country, creating a unique pizza occasion the entire family can enjoy,” Greg Hamilton, chief marketing officer at Little Caesars, said.
Along with the pizza, the chain is packaging the movie moment.
Spider-Man-branded packaging and a limited-edition poster will be included with each “Webberoni Pizza” purchase. Little Caesars says the packaging will roll out starting on June 22, while the limited-edition posters will begin on July 6.
The poster rollout is designed to keep collectors moving. The chain says there will be three limited-edition poster designs that refresh weekly at each participating Little Caesars location, giving fans a chance to collect them while supplies last.
The partnership extends beyond the counter, too.
Little Caesars plans a one-day pop-up at Brooklyn’s Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse on June 27 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET. The event will let fans step into a “replica of Peter Parker’s apartment” where they can explore. take photos. search for special Spider-Man and Peter Parker details. and enjoy the new Webberoni Pizza.
Sony Pictures Entertainment is also leaning into the playful pitch. Jeffrey Godsick, EVP, Brand Strategy & Partnerships, said Spider-Man is known for explosive action, humor and fun, and that collaborating with Little Caesars on “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” was a natural fit.
The schedule is tight. but it’s straightforward: the pizza starts first. the packaging follows on June 22. posters kick off on July 6. and the Brooklyn pop-up runs June 27. For fans who want the movie experience to start before the opening weekend. Little Caesars is betting the “web” is something you can taste. photograph. and collect.

Idk why but $8.99 for a pizza that looks like a web seems kinda extra lol.
Wait so you just add pepperoni strings on top of any pizza? That sounds like you’re basically paying extra for pizza decorating… also Spider-Man posters??
This is gonna be the new big thing until everyone realizes it’s not even the movie kind of spiderweb cheese or whatever. I saw “Brand New Day” mentioned and I thought it was already out?? Like June 22??
Little Caesars really said “Spider-Man” and “food stunt” at the same time 😂. The webberoni pizza is supposed to be like a spider’s web but I’m sure it’s just regular pepperoni arranged… and the collectors get the poster and the rest of us get crumbs. Also Brooklyn pop-up sounds cool but how many people even live near there.
