Las Vegas doesn’t do Fourth of July quietly.

On July 4. the city turns the evening into a countdown—starting with parades in the morning and building to the kind of synchronized fireworks that make you stop walking and look up. If you’re trying to fit the best show into a day packed with plans. here are the places where the fireworks are scheduled—and how you can watch.

America250 Fireworks Celebration on the Strip

Las Vegas is marking America’s 250th birthday by stretching Independence Day into an eight-week spectacle. Fireworks displays rotate across the Strip and downtown on Saturdays through July 25.

The shows are eight-minute synchronized displays at 9 p.m. Saturdays. They’re choreographed to a music broadcast on Lotus stations KOMP 92.3 FM, 97.1 FM The Point and 98.9 HANK FM, with complementary visuals on the Sphere’s Exosphere.

The Fourth of July itself is the big moment. On Saturday, July 4th, nine rooftops along the Strip will ignite together for a fully synchronized Full Strip Spectacular. The building lighting will be coordinated in red, white and blue, and the takeover lasts 30 minutes.

32nd annual Summerlin Patriotic Parade

Before the skyline show, Summerlin brings the morning energy.

The Summerlin Patriotic Parade returns for its 32nd annual celebration as an official America250 Nevada event. The theme is “United We Celebrate 250.”

Organizers say the parade includes 70 entries representing American history, culture, military service, sports and community traditions. There will also be more than 20 giant inflatable balloons, veteran and military organizations, and floats.

U.S. Air Force Col. Trevor T. Merrell will serve as grand marshal. Sports representation includes the Vegas Golden Knights, Las Vegas Raiders, the A’s and the Las Vegas Aviators.

The parade starts at 8:30 a.m. from Hillpointe Road and Hills Center Drive. It travels south on Hills Center Drive to Village Center Circle, then turns west onto Trailwood Drive, ending at the Trails Village Shopping Center. The event is free and open to the public.

Boulder City Damboree

Boulder City’s Fourth of July tradition runs all day and clocks in at its 78th year.

The celebration starts at 7 a.m. with the Rotary Pancake Breakfast at Bicentennial Park. At 9 a.m., an annual flyover by the Boulder City Veterans’ Flying Group signals the start of the parade down Colorado Street.

The parade ends at Broadbent Park, where nonprofit vendors offer games, food and a beer wagon, plus a coin toss at the Boulder City Pool at 11 a.m.

Later, festivities move to Veterans Memorial Park at 4 p.m. for music, food and games. That’s also when fireworks arrive—accompanied by music from DJ Mike Pacini.

Henderson celebration at Heritage Park

In Henderson, there’s a free star-spangled event at Heritage Park located at 350 S. Racetrack Road.

It kicks off at 6 p.m. with a live performance by country artist Tony Jackson. Fireworks follow at 9 p.m., synchronized to a custom soundtrack on Mix 94.1.

Admission and parking are free.

Fireworks in downtown Las Vegas

If your plans keep you in the center of the city, downtown has a straightforward pitch: live fireworks at 9 p.m.

The Plaza has downtown Las Vegas’ only live fireworks shows at 9 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday. On those nights, the public can watch for free from Main Street, which will be closed to vehicle traffic from Carson Avenue to Ogden Avenue.

The Plaza is also offering a rooftop pool deck viewing party with a DJ and cocktails.

And if you want more than just the holiday itself, the property is hosting weekly summer fireworks every Friday night through Sept. 4.

Station Casinos turns 50

Station Casinos is lighting up the night for a milestone of its own—its 50th anniversary in Las Vegas.

Fireworks displays launch from Boulder Station, Durango Resort, Green Valley Ranch Resort, Red Rock Resort, Santa Fe Station and Sunset Station.

Durango, Green Valley and Red Rock will host poolside viewing parties with live DJs, frozen treats and glow items for children.

The celebration starts between 7 p.m., with fireworks launching at 9 p.m. Admission is $35 for guests 12 and up, $10 for children ages 2–11, and free for those under 2.

Sunset Station will have free viewing from its amphitheater, and each property has free viewing from its parking lot.

Fireworks on the water

One of the easiest “everyone can see it” options is also one of the most scenic.

Fireworks erupt over the water at Lake Las Vegas in Henderson at 9 p.m. The show is free and open to the public.

Lake Las Vegas officials say great viewing spots include the Westin, the Hilton, and the lawn in the Village dining and retail area.

Whether you’re heading for a full Strip takeover, a parade-first morning, or a waterfront glow, the pattern is the same: at 9 p.m., Southern Nevada is ready to look up together.
