Karlissa Saffold Fires Back at Pinkface Viral Clip

After a Blueface livestream sparked backlash over Karlissa Saffold Harvey disciplining Journey Porter, aka Pinkface, Karlissa took to Instagram to address the public reaction—and the DMs and threats she says followed the viral moment.

Karlissa Saffold Harvey didn’t dodge the internet’s outrage—she walked straight back into the conversation.

A clip from Blueface’s recent livestream quickly went viral after it showed Karlissa checking his daughter. Journey Porter. known online as Pinkface. In the footage. the tension started when Journey told Karlissa. “Get out of my house.” Karlissa shot back. “This isn’t your house. You don’t pay no bills here.”.

Then Journey hit Karlissa on the arm. Karlissa corrected her and reminded her not to speak to her that way. The situation escalated again when Journey hit her again, and Karlissa responded by giving Journey “a little pow on the derriere.”

In the wake of the clip’s explosion online, Karlissa says people have been blowing up her DMs and sending her threats over how she handled her granddaughter.

Karlissa posted to Instagram with a screenshot showing a ChatGPT search about rules around disciplining children in California. The response she shared said guardians can use non-injurious physical discipline. while warning that it can turn into a legal issue if the punishment becomes excessive or causes injuries or bruising.

Her caption made the message personal and blunt. “I raise three kids I know exactly what to do and what not to do now stay the hell off my page and off my name before I report y’all for starting and threatening about my choice for discipline or leading anyone on this Internet to threaten or harass me. ” she wrote.

In The Shade Room’s comment section. many reactions landing around Karlissa weren’t backing down from the viral moment either. Instagram user @hey_itsjademonet wrote. “About time 👏.” Instagram user @bigfreedia said. “These kids need true discipline grandma did right.” Instagram user @trendytopictiff added. “Grandma is right.” Another user. @thycolourgod. told her. “Go ahead and take that one upstairs grandma. I think she needs a few more.”.

Other comments echoed the same energy: @caramel.killaa wrote, “somebody gotta do it lol.” @cajun_cravingsdfw said, “She’s 3 talking and acting like this…. Imagine 13. 😮😮.” @sexyslim404 responded, “It’s about time somebody discipline her👏👏👏.”

Not everyone framed it the same way, though. Instagram user @jidejoi wrote. “The mom and dad are sitting there allowing it so she doesn’t think anything is wrong. Sad.” And @madamestylistzw____ landed on a similar theme of enforcement without enabling, saying, “Finally!. An adult who doesn’t enable ill manners👏👏👏.”.

Not long after, more clips from Blueface’s livestream circulated online, offering a different beat in the story. One video showed Journey walking downstairs and coming back to Karlissa. Karlissa asked, “Can we kiss and make up?” Journey then sat on Karlissa’s lap and responded, “I’m sorry.”

  1. I don’t even know who Pinkface is but if somebody says “get out of my house” then it’s not like she was calm either. Also the ChatGPT screenshot thing is crazy like… why are we using AI to justify touching somebody kids. threats are never okay though, like come on.

  2. Wait I thought Blueface was the one raising the child? why is the grandma getting into it on IG like this. And the article said “non-injurious physical discipline” which I’m like… how do you prove non-injurious if there’s a “pow on the derriere”?? I feel like everybody gonna get sued over a clip anyway.

  3. The whole thing is messy. If she’s posting “stay the hell off my page” then maybe don’t go viral in the first place. Half the comments probably didn’t even watch the clip and just assumed she was beating the kid or something. Also using a ChatGPT search feels like “look I found the loophole” energy. Threats are wild, but everybody acting like California rules are the same everywhere… law is law though I guess.
