As far as Karlie Kloss is concerned, what happens in the Swift squad stays in the Swift squad.

During an appearance on the “Today” show Tuesday, July 28, the supermodel and pal of pop superstar Taylor Swift spoke about attending the singer’s wedding to NFL star Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden earlier this month.

Kloss, 33, was spotted at the star-studded nuptials alongside husband and venture capitalist Joshua Kushner. The couple were among several A-list attendees at the July 3 ceremony, which included guests such as Ed Sheeran, Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, Tom Cruise, Adam Sandler and Zoë Kravitz.

Kloss, who appeared on the morning talk show to discuss her children’s book “Spaghetti Code,” was asked what it was like to attend “the wedding of the summer.”

“Listen, I try to protect the privacy of my friends’ personal lives,” Kloss said. “But what I will say is that they’re an amazing couple, and I’m so happy for them.”

Despite being one of the most buzzed about celebrity weddings in recent years, details from the ceremony are scant, as photos and videos of the event have yet to be released. The nuptials were officiated by Swift and Kelce’s friend, actor and comedian Adam Sandler. The couple did not have traditional bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, served as her man of honor, while Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, was his best man.

Kloss and Swift’s decadelong friendship has been well-publicized since the early 2010s, after the “Opalite” songstress gave Kloss a shout-out in a 2012 Vogue interview. The women quickly started being photographed together at outings and joint events like the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and a dual Vogue cover in 2015.

During Swift’s “1989” album campaign, Kloss became one of the faces of Swift’s “squad,” a tightknit friend group consisting of the singer’s high-profile female friends, which included Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne and Hailee Steinfeld. Kloss also appeared in the music video for Swift’s 2015 hit “Bad Blood.”

However, rumors of a falling out emerged around 2017 and seemed to be confirmed in 2019 when Kloss invited one of Swift’s antagonists, music businessman Scooter Braun, to her wedding celebration around the same time Braun purchased Swift’s master recordings, allegedly without her prior knowledge.

But if there was ever any drama, the famous friends have appeared to put it behind them. Kloss was spotted at Swift’s Eras Tour in 2023, leading fans to wonder about a reconciliation. Additionally, Kloss liked the singer’s August 2025 post announcing her engagement to Kelce.

And in July, Kloss further put feud rumors to bed when she was seen leaving a SoHo building the day of Swift’s wedding, presumably making her way to Madison Square Garden for the ceremony. The model was elegantly dressed in a strapless, liquid-gold satin Tove gown with a softly draped neckline, accessorizing with a metallic clutch. Her husband, Kushner, complemented the look in a double-breasted tuxedo.
